Celebrate #GivingTuesday 2014 with Critical Stages

by Chris Bendall

#GivingTuesday 2014

You may not know it, but today is #GivingTuesday 2014. Today is about celebrating generosity, and supporting your favourite not-for-profit organisations and charities. Today is a day to inspire a culture of giving in Australia and right around the world.

Everything counts on #GivingTuesday. So help us spread the word and celebrate this year by lending your voice and your support to Critical Stages.

As a small not-for-profit organisation, Critical Stages relies on both government support and our individual generous donors to help us achieve our mission. We have just a small permanent core staff and our resources are already stretched to the limit.

You can help today simply by following this link and making a small tax-deductible donation to Critical Stages.

  • Just $25 will feed our cast and crew when they’re out on the road;
  • $250 will provide our next touring production with new costumes;
  • $500 will help us hire lights so our actors can be seen;
  • $1000 will pay for a week’s rehearsal for one of our cast;

This year we have succesfully toured four outstanding indepdent theatre productions to audiences right around the country. You can help us to get the next one out on the road.

 Please consider donating today for #GivingTuesday2014

Ultimately, your support will play a crucial roll in allowing us to continue touring great theatre and providing audiences right round the country with powerful theatrical experiences long into the future.

As a special thank you, as well as our extreme gratitude, you will receive exclusive updates from our cast and crew as they take their shows on the road as well as acknowledgement on the digital thank-you wall on our website.

Please consider donating. Its very simple to do using paypal directly from our website or via one of our donation forms.    If you aren't able to support us yourself, you can celebrate #GivingTuesday by spreading the word about Critical Stages to someone you know who may be interested in supporting us.

Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you at the theatre very soon.

With best wishes,

Chris Bendall
